OJVA Tourneys

Both Junior Girls and Adult tourney schedules See Below

The dates will also be posted on the CEVA website. Please contact Marty Mozzochi at 360-601-7988 for more information or to sign up. Teams must be registered USAV teams to play in our tournaments. Each team must have a certified referee and scorekeeper, as well as regulation uniforms in order to participate. The cost of the tournaments is $100.00 per team. Teams will be confirmed by email at least one week prior to the tournament.

This information is only for tourneys hosted by Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy at The Courts in Beaverton Tourneys. CEVA Power Leagues and Adult events are different, please consult with CEVA website.

Tournament Location: The Courts in Beaverton. 14523 SW Millikan Way , Beaverton

The Courts will open its doors 15 minutes before the coaches meeting... Approx 7:45a

Directions

From Hwy 26

Take the Murray Rd exit. Head South on Murray (toward Beaverton), proceed about 2 miles on Murray. Make a Left turn on SW Millikan Way, proceed 60 yds to Schotkky Lane and make a left turn and immediately make another left into the Millikan Business Park. Drive past the warehouse on the right and make the 1st right into the parking lot. We are straight ahead.

From HWY 217

Take the Canyon Rd exit. Make a left hand onto TV Hwy 8, Proceed about 2 miles to SW Murray Way and make a right turn. Proceed to SW Millikan (the 1st signal) and make a right hand turn, proceed 60 yds to Schotkky Lane and make a left turn and immediately make another left into the Millikan Business Park. Drive past the warehouse on the right and make the 1st right into the parking lot. We are straight ahead.

Coaches meeting: For CEVA Junior Tourneys Starts at 7:30

For OJVA Junior tourneys Starts at 8:00am sharp

For CEVA Adult Tourneys Starts at 8:30a

Format: Pool Play in the morning. First serve is 30 min after Coaches meeting

Single elimination playoffs in the afternoon and early evening.

Facility highlites: 6 Volleyball courts all separated by netting, Each

court has its own bleachers and team benches, Each

team will be assigned a hang out area around their

morning playing court. Plenty of parking, CourtSide

Cafe on site with GREAT food. Other food options

close by (Check out our Dining Partner wall as you

enter the Courts

Warm ups: Warm up time for each team will be 5 min on the

court for your first match and then 4 min after that.

Food and Drink Policy: Only water in a plastic bottle will be allowed on the hardwood floors. No coolers will be allowed in the facility. There is NO OUTSIDE FOOD allowed in The Courts.....This will be strictly enforced!!! Food and flavored drinks can be consumed on the cement areas inside of the facility. Teams will be accessed a 5 point penalty if food from the team, including parents is found on the wood floor area.

The Courtside Cafe: The Courtside Cafe is our Food area. The Cafe has soft drinks, Bottled water, Smoothies, Salads, Bento Bowl, Fresh Sandwiches, Pizza, Soup, Hot Dogs, Pananni and snacks all day. In the morning the Cafe has our new Espresso Bar and Coffee, Bagels and cream cheese, muffins, donuts and other morning wake me ups. After 11am the Cafe be serving its full menu til 4pm. Outside Chairs: Each court has its own bleachers that can seat up to 36 people so we have a fair amount of seating. Outside chairs are allowed on the wood floor only if you use one of our proctective mats.

Schedule: Due to possible last minute deletions and additions, Final pool assignments will not be assigned until Friday mid day. For the playoffs, we may swap teams that were in the same am pools if the afternoon bracket seeding has them playing in the first pound of playoffs. No Caps on any games in the Playoff Brackets

Prizes: Each team that wins the Championship Division of the tourney will be given a team prize.

Lost and Found policy All lost items will be kept for 1 week before they are given to a Goodwill or St Vincent program. The Courts will verify that we have something that looks like what you might have lost but it is your responsibility to come to the Courts and claim it.

Entry Forms and Fees: If your team has not submitted a entry form with all players names and if your team has not paid the entry fee, you must have the form and fee at the coaches meeting. We will not supply the form (or the Fee).
