Oregon Juniors Volleyball Academy!
We are passionate about volleyball at every level.
It was a great weekend for OJVA in the Platinum Division (top 4 teams in Oregon and Washington). OJVA 17's finished first overall beating NPJ 18 Forefront in 3 very competitive sets. This topped off a month of success for the 17's.... Winning the 18's division of the Matt Hartner tourney at Univ of Oregon, Finishing 21st in one of the top Tourneys in the country, Winning the CEVA USAV 17's National Bid tourney and then Winning the Platinum Tourney.
OJVA 18's also played in the Bid tourney and also did very well finishing in the top 3 for CEVA teams. Unfortunately 18's will be going to another National Qualifier and will miss the next Platinum Tourney. 18's have been plaugued with injuries and have yet to have the entire team together for any Tourney or even training sessions, But they continue to fight thru with wins!!!!!
16-1 finished in the top 3 at the last Platinum Tournament and will be returning to Platinum for a second time on March 19!!
As always OJVA will look to train as many teams as we feel we have quality coaches to coach. Here are the current standings as of March 7th..... Great Job by all teams, Players , Coaches and Parents:
12u Teams.... #2,#13,#16,#21 and #49 out of 72 teams
13u Teams... #9 in the 14u Division
14u Teams... #2, #11,#23,#43 out of 136 teams
15u Teams... #13 in the 16u Division

18u Team... #3 out of 74 teams
OJVA stands with the Black community and our nation in the movement for racial justice and equity. The recent senseless deaths of many Black people have brought to a head the continued systematic racism that has been woven into our society and what major changes need to be made in our country.
Sports and team activities provide a unique opportunity for positive growth and learning. OJVA can be a part of this work with more education and by our actions within our own volleyball community. Our leadership team is committed to creating structures that will allow for sustainable changes to our culture and allow us to become stronger allies for our athletes of color. We will continue to educate ourselves as coaches and work to partner with the youth of our club to champion this effort. We are all in this together and want to show our support to our athletes of color now and in the future.
Young people in our country are the next leaders and we are hopeful that many of you will choose to be part of the change. Please look for announcements coming soon that will allow opportunities for all of our OJVA families to get involved and join us on this important journey.
